Accessible Care & Lifestyle Services (ACALS) is a provider of disability support and aged care services located in Campbelltown NSW 2560. From supported independent living arrangements tailored to individual needs to facilitating community engagement and providing essential activities of daily living support, we ensure comprehensive care and enable individuals to thrive. We are seeking a Management Accountant who will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our operations, with a focus on disability support and aged care services.

Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Conduct financial investigations, examine operating costs and the organisation’s income and expenditure and tailor financial reporting to include relevant metrics and insights specific to ACALS’ operations.
- Develop and implement budgetary and accounting policies tailored to disability support and aged care services, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and compliance with NDIS guidelines.
- Prepare performance-based financial statements incorporating metrics relevant to services, such as client outcomes, service utilisation and NDIS funding utilisation, for presentation to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Provide management with reports on cost performance, pricing strategies and forecasting specific to disability support and aged care services, assisting in resource allocation and service planning.
- Conduct financial investigations and prepare reports on asset valuation, capital financing options and potential mergers to support strategic decision-making by ACALS management, such as facility upgrades, equipment investments and service expansions.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reports, meeting NDIS reporting standards and statutory requirements.
- Offer financial and taxation advice for ACALS’ operations, including NDIS funding structures and compliance with pricing and billing rules, and prepare taxation returns for ACALS, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Liaise with financial institutions to establish funds management arrangements optimised for ACALS’ cash flow needs, including managing NDIS payment schedules and cash flow projections.
- Introduce and maintain accounting systems, advising on the selection and application of software solutions compatible with NDIS reporting requirements.
- Maintain internal control systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting and safeguarding of assets related to disability support and aged care services.
- Evaluate cash flow and financial risk associated with capital investment projects, providing insights to support strategic governance and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management accounting, finance or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Management Accountant
- Strong understanding of NDIS funding models, pricing rules and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting and financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 - $100,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
