We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant. In this role, you will oversee the management accounting function and analyze service provision for mecwacare's various offerings. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that financial records for all designated business units are accurately maintained in compliance with relevant guidelines, statutory regulations, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will identify emerging trends to help achieve budgeted targets.
What you bring:
- Operations management skills.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting and membership of a recognised professional accounting body or near completion.
- Working knowledge of Australian accounting standards, statutory requirements, regulations and practices which apply to accounting in the aged care sector.
- High level of experience working in a medium to large size organisation in management accounting, finance business partnering business analysis or similar role.
- Demonstrated ability in the formulation and management of budgets and forecasts.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver detailed financial analysis and advice.
- High level analytical and reporting skills.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritise multiple completing tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
