I am looking for a Management Accountant to join a local Darwin council on a temporary basis.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for developing the council's financial planning, budgetary process and reporting framework.
You will be responsible for the following
- Financial Management
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assets borrowing and investments (Treasury)
- Taxation and Compliance
- Corporate Systems
- Supporting the performance and capability of the team
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an accountant in an accounting firm
- Advanced numeracy and Excel skills
