Unified Projects is a commercial fitout company based in Emu Plains NSW. We are focused on works within airport environment across Australia. We have plenty of exciting projects and experienced recent growth requiring the input of permanent Management accountant.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or any other relevant Commerce degree
- Experience within a construction environment - preferred
- Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with Xero preferential
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and management reporting
- 2+ years in a Finance or Accounting related role in a small to medium size company advantageous
- Strong Initiative and proactive nature
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- P&L & Balance Sheet management
- Sound knowledge of costing and management accounting practices.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting the project teams with end of month job status reporting, cost actuals, forecasting and other adjustment journals
- Assist cost code owners with the review of transaction reports and prepare journal entries and accruals as required
- Cashflow management including short and medium-term forecasts
- Work directly with external stakeholders and appointed accountant for statutory requirements / planning and reporting
- Create and effect procedures and policies for Accounts payable and accounts receivable. Support improvements in general accounting procedures and systems
- Analyse financial data, prepare reports for project profitability and performance, and support decision making
- Assist with general ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable for business
