THE ROLE
This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated, successful people leader to manage the City’s Community Safety Business Unit and continue to shape the culture of one of Western Australia’s largest and most progressive local governments.
The City is seeking a dynamic, team focused manager motivated by the challenge of supporting staff to serve the ongoing and growing needs of the community. Bring your highly developed negotiation, facilitation, and mediation skills to achieve positive outcomes in the work area.
REQUIREMENTS
The Manager Community Services will be resilient, have integrity and be fair in their interactions internal and external. Respect and effective collaboration are essential to review service delivery and process improvement across all functions of the business unit.
If you can demonstrate expertise in a similar local government role where you have worked in a pivotal Community Safety role, reviewing, and implementing policies, programs and projects we would be interested in hearing from you. A relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
THE PACKAGE
A five-year contract is on offer and a Total Reward Package of $208,000 – $220,000 applies to this role. Additional senior leader benefits include:
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Executive Days – 1 per month (non-cumulative)
- WA Public Service Recognition Days – 2 per annum
- Paid Parental Leave
