Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Prep through to Year 12, with a co-educational Pre-Prep offering. Somerville House students have the opportunity to participate in an extensive academic, sporting and cultural program, while receiving high standards in personal care and individual attention within the School community.
Somerville House is a school of the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA). The PMSA is a mission of the Presbyterian and Uniting Churches.
This exciting opportunity presents itself to an experienced leader who is able sustain strong internal and external relationships and have managerial oversight on a number of operational departments across the School.
Working with a high volume of key stakeholders and having a number of direct reports our ideal candidate will display exceptional leadership skills, demonstrate prior experience within the hospitality or event management field, and have the innate ability to work to demanding schedules and deadlines.
This is a permanent, full-time position which will commence 15 April 2024 or as negotiated.

- Do you have leadership experience in management of staffing, performance, budgets and contribution to strategic objectives?
- Are you a highly personable, adaptable, and strategic operator?
- Do you have excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written?

It is a mandatory requirement to hold a working with children paid blue card. Experience within a school environment would be highly advantageous.
