Senior Executive Officer position
The Borough of Queenscliffe is located in one of Victoria’s premier coastal areas and is defined by unique environmental values, built heritage and maritime history.
Council is seeking a dynamic professional to take on the role of Manager Customer Experience, a new position in the organisation as a result of a restructure. This is a key leadership position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and, in collaboration with the Management Team, provides operational leadership and good governance to the Borough of Queenscliffe in order to achieve the strategic plans, goals and objectives determined by the Chief Executive Officer and Council.
This role would suit an experienced and talented community-focused professional to lead Council’s Customer Experience directorate comprising the Tourist Park, Visitor Information Centre and Customer Service teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline along with a demonstrated experience at a management level. You will be:
- a strong communicator able to manage our stakeholder engagement effectively;
- a strategic thinker able to translate strategic objectives into day to day operational work;
- an emotionally intelligent and experienced negotiator and collaborator.
This role manages a multi-disciplinary team and requires well developed leadership and management skills to effectively motivate and develop the people in your team. Good finance skills are also required to manage the significant budget and revenue stream of the Customer Experience Directorate.
