The role:
The Manager - Finance and Business is
- A high-level strategic role reporting to the Director of Finance and Procurement within Finance and Business Support.
- Provides strategic and authoritative advice, expertise and support to the Chief Financial Officer and the Deputy Secretary Hospitals and Primary Care, particularly in relation to budget, Finance and human resource issues.
- Leads the development and manages the delivery of business support functions and provides high level leadership, management and mentoring to the Business Support Team.
- Builds effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality business support functions in an environment subject to competing priorities and pressures.

The Business Support Team
- Is a fast paced environment providing business expertise across the Hospitals and Primary Care portfolio
- Works closely with the Finance and Business Support and Hospitals and Primary Care Executive to provide strategic financial advice
- Provides an opportunity to drive and implement change across the business to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources
Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $135,408 - $144,527 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

- Tertiary qualifications in a business/management or related field
- Experience in working in a health organisation
