Job description
The Manager Human Resource Services will be responsible for effectively leading a small, close-knit Human Resource Services (HRS) team across all disciplines, including Human Resource Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and Workplace Health and Safety. Further, the role will require high-level interdivisional communication across the organisation to further the RTA's Strategic Plan and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders. The Manager HRS will be at the forefront of driving a positive workplace culture and ensuring the RTA continues to strive towards becoming a sustainable and contemporary organisation that empowers our people for success.
To be successful you will need:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resource business partnering leadership position
* Excellent organisational skills and thrives working independently in a fast paced environment
* A track record of overseeing performance management processes and providing coaching to leaders on setting effective performance goals
* A 'hands on' approach to working across all operational matters
* Strong generalist knowledge of HR, performance management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, recruitment and industrial relations
* Experience developing, implementing and actively managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify and drive the continual improvement of organisational development activities
* The ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and managing multiple tasks within strict deadlines
