Within DoE the Department of Education International (DEi) through the International Student Programs delivers world class education opportunities to overseas students.
The Strategy and Performance team supports schools and overseas students through a variety of programs, policy and procedures and professional development.
About the Role:
As the Manager, Strategy and Performance you will have responsibility for the following:
* Ensure quality accreditation and compliance processes for accredited International Student Program schools and implement strategic projects to improve international education outcomes for the unit, branch and division.
* Manage the policies, procedures, contracts, relationships, finances and resources required to ensure a strong financial return, successful outcomes and compliance with all legislative requirements applicable to International Student Programs.
* Lead the delivery of high quality customer service to schools, education agents, the International Business team, partners, clients and stakeholders.
* Undertake business planning, product planning and performance reviews to ensure the portfolio is aligned with departmental, divisional and work unit business and strategic plans.
* Contribute to the development and management of the global budget for DE International, with specific responsibilities for the development, management, monitoring and reporting of financial matters relating to International Student Programs.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
* Lead and manage the Strategy and Performance unit
* Supervise officers in the Strategy and Performance unit
* Ensure compliance with Departmental procedures, Commonwealth and State legislation
* Provide high level advice to the Director, International Student Programs and the Executive Director, DE International.
* Co-ordinate the creation and maintenance of procedures and documentation relating to the International Student Programs.
