As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are seeking a motivated leader to join our team as a Landcare Manager.The Landcare Manager oversees operations of genU Landcare. This role supervises a dedicated team of staff and supported employees, by managing grounds maintenance, landscaping and specialist horticulture services across, but not limited to Geelong and the Bellarine.Key responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the day to day operations of genU Grounds Maintenance, Landcare and Nursery teams ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. This includes coordinating activities, allocating resources, and supervise and support staff to meet productivity targets and customer expectations.
- Manage fleet, assets, maintenance and utilisation of all vehicles, machinery, and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organisational requirements.
- Develop comprehensive production and work schedules for Landcare operations, considering factors such as timelines, resource availability, customer specification.
- Ensure the division is utilising a customised employment approach to ensure growth, development and opportunities for Supported Employees.
- Manage all HR, OH&S and budgets for the division whilst working closely with he Director
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to align Landcare operations with broader business goals and objectives, including new business and growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience managing operational teams within public gardens and landscaping, or of a similar nature with transferable skills in a commercial environment.
- Current first Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Understanding of Quality Assurance systems and OH&S regulations
- Competent computer skills (Word, excel, outlook and company databases and applications)
- Strong people management skills.
- Current Victorian driver's license
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion, or a willingness to complete.
