This iconic Sydney property originally opened in 1929 and was Australia’s tallest hotel for 34 years. It is a rare example of the renowned Inter-War Palazzo style by notable architect, Virgil Dante Cizzio. The charming, privately owned property is set to be operated by Accor, a world leading hospitality group, and will be one of Australia’s first Handwritten Collection hotels. The new global portfolio of charming bespoke Accor hotels are curated with passion and offer an intimate and stylish hospitality experience, connecting guests with the charm, character and warmth of their hoteliers.
JOB:
This role provides strategic and commercial direction within the MORRIS across all functions of Sales, Distribution, Digital, Loyalty, Marketing and Communications. It is a senior leadership role and requires active participation and support to all parts of the business including Revenue Management, Hotel Operations and Food and Beverage Operations.
YOUR QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
- similar role at another hotel or a brand
- great experience in marketing, storytelling, brand development
- has experience in sales/hosting site inspections
- Negotiation skills
- Strategic leadership skill
