The Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic leader with a passion for HR Technology Solutions, teamwork, and amazing customer service.
In this role you will manage a team that develops, implements, and administers People Technology Solutions including the core payroll environment (Ascender/Apay) for the Department of Transport. You will lead your team to deliver customer service excellence to clients at all levels across the Department in response to People Technology applications. You will play a key role in the People and Culture leadership team influencing the HR/IT Strategic plan while driving digital transformation and continuous improvement.
To be suitable in this role, you will have experience in leading a team to deliver integrated and business focused technology-based solutions, as well as display a commitment to excellence and communication. You will be proficient at using data to inform your strategic decision-making while developing solutions and have experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to map the future state and outcomes.

· (SC1) Extensive knowledge and experience project managing application implementation and providing administrative support in relation to human resource/People Technology Solutions in a large multidisciplinary organisation.
· (SC2) Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team to deliver integrated and business focused technology-based solutions, providing an excellent experience for all stakeholders.
· (SC3) Working knowledge and experience in people practices, payroll procedures and related legislation and a professional approach to maintaining currency of knowledge.
