  • Annual Salary $120,000 - $130,000 + Car + Superannuation
  • Melbourne Polytechnic offer Flexible Working, this role is based out of our Preston Campus. We are close to public transport and provide secure onsite parking, onsite Café & restaurant with a gym facility, hair salon & we are only a 2 minute walk to Preston market.

About the Role:

The position purpose of the Manager Precincts is to oversee day-to-day operations at all Melbourne
Polytechnic Precinct/campuses. The primary goal is to create inclusive precincts that bring together
students, teachers, industry and community and to ensure that Melbourne Polytechnic’s Precincts
respond to the needs of local community and Industry.

Duties:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all Melbourne Polytechnic Precincts.
  • Ensure the effective functioning of all facilities within the Precinct, including classrooms,
    meeting rooms, laboratories and general areas.
  • Oversee the promotion, allocation and utilisation of facilities and resources, including
    classrooms, meeting rooms, equipment, materials, and space.
  • Develop and implement procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment within the Precinct.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support the delivery of
    educational programs and corporate services.

Skills and Experience Required: 
  • Proven experience in a similar role, experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively
    with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail in managing administrative processes and documentation.
  • Proficient in using office software and technology tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
