As a healthy Hawaiian haven born in Byron Bay, Finn Poke Byron Pty Ltd stands to bring the cool clean flavours of Hawaii to the fresh, organic produce of Australia. The first Poke focused restaurant in Australia, Finn Poke takes pride in local, quality and sustainably sourced fish and ingredients. Since opening in 2017 Finn Poke has grown to conquer some of Australia’s most dynamic locations. From Byron Bay to Burleigh Heads to Broadbeach’s Pacific Fair and, most recently, Gateway Sydney in Circular Quay.
The Role:
We are looking for a professional Manager (Retail Operations) (Full Time) to be responsible for managing the operation of our poke bowl stores and trucks in Byron Bay and for delivering an excellent customer experience.
The successful candidate will be able to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:
1. Analysing reports to develop forecasts and strategies for the stores and determining relevant price points for the products
2. Determining, implementing and maintaining in-store operational standards to ensure good customer service experience is delivered.
3. Communicating actively with head office, preparing, monitoring, and controlling store budgets and sales targets.
4. Monitoring product stock levels, organising stock and equipment, ordering supplies if necessary.
5. Inspecting all areas inside the stores ensuring all food health and safety guidelines are followed.
6. Selecting staff and training all food & beverage attendants, supervising and leading staff to efficient performance, coaching staff in meeting sales targets and handling customer complaints.
7. Managing and resolving escalated customer complaints.
8. Handling and executing all catering orders, customer reservations and events.
9. Assisting and carrying out marketing activities in line with company policy, including implementing branded promotional campaigns from head office.
Annual Salary: $70,000 + Super
To be successful in this role, you must:
1. Minimum 2 years management experience required
2. At least holding a Diploma degree in retail, management, or relevant field
3. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
4. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
5. Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
6. Communication and leadership skills
7. Up to date with poke bowls trends and best practices
8. Ability to manage personnel and meet agreed financial targets
9. Guest-oriented and service-minded
