We are on the hunt for a dynamic, innovative strategist and creative to spearhead the role of Manager, Social Marketing - Australia + New Zealand.
With a global social reach of 877m followers, we fuel daily pop culture and foster passionate entertainment fandom to a scale that matches global celebrities. While today we live and breathe TikTok and Instagram - what's next? We're looking for a social marketer who can answer this question by leaning into risk, experimentation and by making big bets.
From global blockbusters like Stranger Things and Bridgerton to local Netflix hits like Heartbreak High and Boy Swallows Universe, this an opportunity to build social communities and editorials formats for one of Australia's most loved entertainment brands.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the Netflix Social Marketing strategy across various platforms, focusing on audience growth, organic social title campaigns, and repeatable editorial formats.
• Connect narratives across our titles to craft compelling brand stories that demonstrate entertainment expertise, local relevance, and title/brand fandom.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners across publicity, comms, marketing, integrated planning, and content.
• Partner with external teams (agency, freelance) to deliver creativity and excellence across our social channels and formats.
• Maintain and strengthen our brand voice and tone and branding through social content strategy, community management and editorial curation.
• Utilize social analytics and internal data to inform strategy and identify opportunities.
• Stay on top of cultural trends to foster relevant brand conversations.
• Be experimental with content, take risks, be ambitious and original.
• Build and manage budgets to drive efficiency and scale impact.

Skills and Requirements:

• A social / editorial / marketing superstar with 10+ years of experience in entertainment media or brand building fueled by social content creation.
• Passionate about great stories. You can talk on and on about your favourite shows, genres, and creators you admire for your life.
• Deep knowledge of social platforms and the ability to craft engaging stories.
• Proven track record of creating content that gets shared and talked about.
• Strong global IQ and the ability to work with teams from different markets.
• Solid understanding of marketing and social media analytics.
• High tolerance for change, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership, team management and project management skills.
