Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Prevention and Communication division as Manager - Strategic Intelligence on a full-time, ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Strategic Intelligence, the role leads a small team proactively delivering Strategic Intelligence and data analysis to identify trends, risks and issues in public sector corruption and police misconduct, including conducting regular analysis and reporting on complaints and notifications received by IBAC
Duties include:
- Proactively drive the delivery of Strategic Intelligence projects and activities analysing public sector corruption and police misconduct issues and risks to inform IBAC's expository and prevention functions.
- Undertake complex analysis across a range of information and data systems and intelligence sources.
- Prepare and supervise the production of technical reports, briefs and other products at an advanced professional level.
- Provide day to day team management, including staff supervision, performance management and development, and managing resource allocation

Our requirements / Your skill set
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- A sound understanding of the public sector and police operating environments and associated corruption and misconduct risks, as well as substantial experience in an intelligence environment are required.
- Demonstrated experience in applying contemporary intelligence skills, including the collection, collation and analysis of data and other information, and reporting on findings in respect to complex sensitive matters.
- Formal qualifications in intelligence
