About the role:

What the role will involve:
- Develop employee capability through mentoring, coaching, and ensuring awareness of corporate/technical training opportunities as appropriate
- Manage change and implementation of changes into to the Water teams and maintaining alignment.
- Develop strategies, policies, processes, and reviews and manage the application, maintenance and continuous review of operational plans and instructions to optimise the effectiveness and compliance of the assigned facilities business operations
- Represent the Corporation in meetings with external organisations, consultants, and Government agencies on various aspects of Water source, production, treatment, storage, and conveyance as required
- Effective management of relationships with other key internal and external customers and stakeholders
Key skills and experience:
- Relevant Tertiary or Trade level qualification and substantial experience in water or wastewater treatment, O&M and leading field-based teams, or
- Extensive experience in water or wastewater treatment, O&M and leading field-based teams
- Capability to manage, develop and deploy people to enhance business capability
- Considerable experience and demonstrated ability in planning and leading the implementation of change
- Experience in leading field teams in civil maintenance and large integrated conveyance pumping systems.
- Experience in liaising with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
