The Workforce Partnerships and Professional Development at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Manager (Senior Occupational Therapist or Senior Psychologist or Senior Social Worker or Clinical Nurse Consultant) to join their team on a temporary full time basis.

Your opportunity
- To provide strategic and operational leadership and management to the Workforce, Professional Partnership and Development Program within the Division of Mental Health and AODS (DMHAODS) to support the delivery of recovery focused services.
- To provide high level input into the strategic direction of the Division Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug Services through active engagement in key meetings, leading implementation of key strategies and providing expert advice regarding day to day operational and strategic matters.
- The position has operational responsibility for a diverse staffing group who provide Division wide services and programs, to internal and external stakeholders. Programs impact on state and health service deliverables and the portfolio is responsible for ensuring the Division's clinical services comply to relevant legislation through key positions.
The Workforce Professional Partnership and Development Manager will:
- Be accountable for the administration, direction, and control of the human resource, financial and asset management across a broad and diverse professional team inclusive of clinicians, project staff and service reform and improvements.
- Lead the strategic development of relationships, with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the DMHAODS.
- Lead, manage, collaborate, and provide authoritative counsel across the Division, HHS and at a state level and deliver advanced and specialised clinical expertise, workforce development, education, consultation through key positions and support service improvement.
- Function as a member of the Senior Management Team of the Mackay Division of Mental Health and AODS and contribute to the delivery of high-level clinical services in a complex health delivery environment.
The Workforce, Professional Partnership and Development Program Manager reports to the DMHAODS Operations Director.

Staff work collaboratively with each other and with consumers, their families/carers and external service providers.
