My cleint is a well known, leading wholesaler of premium brand hydraulic parts with national distribution.
Right now they are looking to add to their team by appointing an experienced and commercially astute Market Development Manager.
In this national role you will:
- Define and manage the product portfolio.
- Manage segment sales and gross margins.
- Manage and grow key partner relationships - both suppliers and major resellers.
- Keep abreast of technology and product advances.
- Undertake competitor and market analysis.
- Manage a small team of customer service and internal sales staff.
- Reporting.
This role reports to a GM of sales and marketing and is supported with commercial, procurement and technical staff.
The ideal candidate would already be working in a similar role within the hydrualics industry with 5+ years of experience. However, we will consider candidates from the industry with a sales or operational background and appropriate commercial/marketing qualifications looking to move into a Market Development role.
Ongoing product training and support will be provided.
