We're seeking a marketing star to join our amazing team! The Marketing & Account Manager is responsible for overseeing marketing strategy and campaign creation and management for our client’s projects and campaigns. This requires a go-getter, marketing all-rounder with skills covering creative campaign ideation, media planning and buying, campaign and project management and a solid knowledge of digital marketing and creative that will deliver exceptional results.
About You
- Midweight marketer with minimum 5 years agency experience, with event and tourism marketing experience.
- You are a creative thinker - you ideate campaigns, branding, creative, marketing and promotional campaigns that excites, entices and puts bums on seats at events and shows
- You are a hands-on marketer with great interpersonal skills as you will be working directly with our clients
- Strong project management skills
- Laser focused attention to detail and excellent time management to manage deadlines across multiple client accounts
- Confident pitching and communicating with clients, suppliers and staff to ensure professional delivery and service across every touchpoint
Responsibilities
- Project and Client Management - Manage clients and deadlines
- Client interaction - You are the face and voice to our clients. You are presentable, knowledgeable and confident to meet face to face or online with clients to present strategies, conduct work in progress, updates and final reports to your clients
- Campaign development - You are creative and have the experience to prepare engaging brand and sales-driven promotional campaigns across owned digital, paid digital and offline environments
- Media Planning - Prepare media plan approach and structure, liaise with media outlets, negotiate advertising and partnerships, prepare and present advertising schedule and budgets to the client, manage design briefs, approvals and placements to ensure all deadlines are met and prepare proof of posting, post-buy budget reconciliations, analysis and recommendations for our clients
- Creative - Create design briefs including comms messages, taglines and design layouts - brief and manage our designers to develop engaging campaign creative on time and within budget
- Content - Possess a solid and current knowledge of owned paid advertising strategy and content (GSN, META, LinkedIn and Tik Tok ads) to prepare digital and content briefs are on point and be confident to edit and feedback to ads are thumb-stopping and clickable.
- Social Media - Solid knowledge of social media platforms, strategies and trends, to enable you to brief and brainstorm creative ways of engaging across social platforms, in conjunction with our Social & Content Manager.
- Digital - In line with our internal digital team, drive campaigns to ensure creatives are refreshed and promotions and content are click-worthy
- Project Management - Ensure that all creative and marketing elements of a project are managed smoothly and professionally
- Admin - Prepare and manage detailed project budgets for clients within +/- 1%, using internal software and processes to ensure billing, budgets are on time
- Internal systems and software - Ensure Milestone team are engaged, updated and managed, software and systems are updated to ensure project timelines are communicated, clients are informed, actions and deadlines are tracked, reported and met at all stages of the campaign or project
- Reporting - Collect, collate, analyse and interpret data, to collate weekly, monthly and end of campaign reports with in-depth analysis of strategic recommendations across all aspects including budgets, strategy, promotions, paid media buy, social media, digital marketing and BTL campaigns.
Business Development - Approach new clients with the intention of securing new business, prepare and deliver high level campaign and creative pitches and regular presentations to clients, both pitching for new clients and presenting marketing strategies, creative and budgets, and driving incremental business from existing clients.
Location
The role is based in Lilyfield, NSW with a free onsite parking spot, close to Leichhardt North tram station and the bus stop.
