McCosker Contracting is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team, based in Gladstone, QLD.
In this position you will assist in developing the marketing management of our brands and associated projects across Australia.
You will be based in our head office with site visits as required (out-of-town travel may be required). The key objective of this role is to assist in developing a stronger marketing portfolio, with a focus on digital design, social media content, and communication media.
This position would be a great opportunity for an undergraduate/graduate marketing/ communication individual, a professional with strong social media/ website design interest or a skilled content creator.

Key responsibilities:
- Plan and implementation of project brochures, websites, signage, corporate initiatives, and corporate presentations.
- Plan updates and online maintenance for websites, database management, current news, and email marketing initiatives.
- Produce regular newsletter publications for internal and external use.
- Assist and coordinate the sponsorship and donation component of the company, attending events, sitting on the committee, facilitating the support provided to the wider community.
- Maintain company branding expectations on all documentation, mobile plant, and buildings.
- Work with multiple departments on promoting internal and external services, achievements, and requirements to fulfil their needs.
- Assist with compiling reports for management.
- Assist with laying out documents using Microsoft suite, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, and other applications.
- Assist with developing and coordinating and promoting the business at internal, client and community events.
- Produce social media marketing including developing the social media portfolio.
- Liaise with internal, clients, and suppliers to produce various projects across multiple creative and media platforms.
- Support the management team in other marketing-related initiatives when required.
We're looking for someone with:
- An accomplished Marketing and Communications Coordinator (2 years experience - desirable)
- Qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is desirable but proven experience without qualification will be regarded.
- An eye for detail and show strong organisation skills.
- Strong graphic design capabilities.
- Excellent relationship, communication, and time management skills. (Verbal and written)
- Experience in managing competing deadlines and workloads.
- Motivated to get in and get the job done.
- Confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Be a self-starter with an interest to learn.
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, website design, and multiple social media platforms.
