As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a talented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis.
Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a part-time role of 3 days/ 24hours/week on a contract basis (6 month term).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Create and schedule engaging content across various digital platforms, including social media, website, and email marketing campaigns.
- Craft compelling copy for social media posts, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with ad hoc tasks, including product uploading, editing, and managing the back end of our online platforms.
- Utilise Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify, WooCommerce, and other relevant tools to manage email marketing campaigns and online store operations.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for design and photography, contributing to the visual aesthetic of our brand.
- Utilise design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, as well as video and photo editing software to create visually appealing content.
- Manage social scheduling platforms to ensure consistent and timely content distribution.
- Maintain excellent written communication skills to effectively convey brand messaging and engage with our audience.
You
To be successful in the role you will have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes:
- Prior experience in marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify, WooCommerce, and other relevant marketing and e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and video/photo editing tools.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
