This is a rare opportunity for an energetic Marketing Assistant looking to gain more marketing experience in the fashion industry. This role is perfect for someone wanting to sink their teeth into social & influencer marketing, as well as gain experience in eCommerce. It is a very dynamic and fast-paced role that requires someone to be agile and a massive team player.
About You
You have recently graduated from university with a degree in Marketing or related fields. You are confident and a very clear communicator. You are a go-getter who loves learning. Being a team player is important to you because you love to achieve key results as a collective. You enjoy a balance of repetitive tasks, project and creative work as you understand that this blend is important in making the business successful. No day is ever the same and that excites you as you love versatility in your role.
The Role
Your role will entail (but is not limited to):
- Curate content within the business (at HQ) and with content creators
- Stay up to date on industry trends & best practices and incorporate relevant topics that align with our social strategy.
- Foster meaningful interactions with followers and fans to build and nurture an engaged community.
- Provide insights, competitor activities and reporting to the wider marketing team, whilst identifying opportunities and challenges.
- Continually source and nurture influencer relationships and content, ensuring that Influencers align with our brand identity to meet with our business objectives and needs
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and Influencer.
- Ensure content is scheduled and published according to the editorial calendar timeline.
- Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, inventory, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery of products to Influencers.
- Supporting with executing PR events, photoshoots, including in-store marketing activations in the business
- Building a portfolio of micro influencers
- Provide essential administrative support in eCommerce, digital marketing, inventory management, and inbox coordination for dynamic team efficiency.
Skills:
- Non-negotiable: Positive attitude, good sense of humour and ability to have fun!
- Knowledge of Canva and CapCut - not essential but highly favourable.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- A genuine passion for social media & influencer marketing with a desire to continually learn and push boundaries within the eCommerce space.
- Excellent communication and the confidence to voice opinions
- Experience in fashion or retail is a plus
