Rymill Coonawarra is a dynamic and proud winery & vineyard located in the heart of South Australia’s world-renowned Coonawarra wine region, producing wines of outstanding quality and value.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing officer to join our winery team. As a Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our winery brand, increase brand awareness, and drive sales. 1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to drive brand awareness and increase sales for our winery products.
2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitor activities, and use this information to inform marketing strategies.
3. Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media marketing, and online advertising, to engage and attract customers.
4. Collaborate with the winemaking and sales teams to develop promotional materials, such as brochures, newsletters, product descriptions, and website content.
5. Manage the winery's social media presence, including creating and scheduling content, responding to customer inquiries, and monitoring social media trends and engagement.
6. Plan and coordinate winery events, such as wine tastings, tours, and special promotions, to enhance customer experience and increase brand loyalty.
7. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and customer feedback, and use this data to optimize marketing strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, bloggers, influencers, and industry professionals to secure press coverage and maximize brand exposure.
9. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors, such as graphic designers, printers, and photographers, to ensure high-quality marketing materials are produced within budget and on time.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in wine marketing to identify new opportunities for the winery.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, prefered wine marketing.
2. Proven experience as a Marketing Officer or similar role, preferably in the wine industry or related field.
3. Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns.
4. Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
6. Creative and innovative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
9. Passion for wine and a good understanding of the winemaking process and industry dynamics.
10. Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
