The Marketing Business Partner maximises value for the Property & Retail team through the execution of the marketing strategy, and the delivery of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, intended to drive revenue.

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Marketing Strategy

Provide the Head of Retail with assistance across Property & Retail when required, including the following:

  • Develops for approval, the marketing strategies in line with the business strategic intent, providing industry insight and expertise.
  • Develops the brand proposition with the Property & Retail, in line with agreed brand guidelines.
  • Develops revenue generating opportunities with agreed retail Business Partners.

Marketing Plans and Campaigns

  • Develops and delivers the marketing strategies and plan.
  • Designs, manages and executes delivery of marketing campaigns to deliver increased revenue.
  • Ensures all marketing collaterals are developed in accordance with the agreed brand guidelines.
  • Manages marketing campaign budgets efficiently and effectively to deliver increased return on investment.

Marketing Budget, ROI and Reporting

  • Manage the Property & Retail departments marketing budgets including the generation of spend estimates and targets for campaigns, effective and efficient management of individual marketing campaign budgets and spend, optimisation of available funds to deliver the best possible results.
  • Delivers ROI on marketing campaigns.

Supplier & Stakeholder management

  • Effectively manages relationships and liaises with all relevant creative, marketing, public relations, media, research and other third party suppliers.
  • Management and control of promotions fund and all promotional activity across all terminals.
  • Manages partnerships with Retailers, Duty free etc. building relationships.
  • Develops strong influencing relationships with Property colleagues and potential clients.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with substantial marketing experience, preferably across industries.
  • Significant proven experience in a marketing position, with retail and/ or commercial property experience preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills required, with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience planning and executing marketing strategies and plans with quantifiable positive results.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify effective creative to achieve the agreed outcomes of the campaign.
  • Strong financial acumen with a continuous improvement focus.
  • An analytical problem-solving approach that uses research, insights and data to inform decision making.
  • Proven project and campaign management skills, along with a strong ability to identify key priorities, develop timelines and deliver key initiatives on time and within budget.
