We're looking for a passionate, results-driven Marketing and Communications professional seeking to make a substantial impact within a rapidly expanding organisation. As a leading high-end construction company, Lords Group invites a talented and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our ranks and propel our marketing initiatives to unprecedented heights. The successful candidate will work closely with our executive management team to develop and execute our business's marketing strategy successfully.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager of Strategy & Operations, the day-to-day duties will involve but are not limited to:

  • Set, manage, and execute the overall marketing and communication strategies that promote positive brand awareness and uniformity internally and externally.
  • Lead the development and execution of social media campaigns and events across various platforms, including, but not limited to, LinkedIn and Instagram. 
  • Design, develop, and execute the corporate-level marketing and comms plan and strategies with budget allocation and monitoring.
  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget annually and allocate funds wisely.
  • Establish and oversee marketing and events programmes comprising project milestones, client entertainment events, awards nights, corporate and social events, etc.
  • Assist in publishing communications internally and externally across digital and non-digital platforms.
  • As applicable, manage and maintain relationships and communications with external stakeholders, including the media, clients, partners, and the public.
  • Maintain and protect the organisation's brand identity, ensuring consistency and professionalism in messaging and visual representation across all communication channels.
  • Develop and coordinate compelling and engaging content for various digital marketing channels.
  • Commission, coordinate and assist in photography, videography, drones, etc., to produce marketing and communication content, as required.
  • Create, optimise, and produce marketing collateral and related marketing and communications content, as applicable.
  • Design, format, and produce corporate documents, such as tender submissions, presentations, correspondence, and reports.
  • Analyse market behaviour and recommend, develop, and manage innovative, unique, and compelling marketing and advertising campaigns accordingly;
  • Achieve the annual strategic objectives and timely reporting on their progress.
  • Contribute to project-level marketing needs (i.e., signage, site amenities and offices, hoardings, scaffolding, etc.)., including significant project milestones and events.
  • Monitor digital media trends, analyse performance, and optimise strategies for maximum impact.
  • Ensure up-to-date website content availability aligning with the marketing and organisational vision.
  • Contribute towards the growth of the marketing function and the team.

Candidate Requirements

The candidate will be a team player with a proven ability to develop strong internal and external relationships. Other desired requirements include;

  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar marketing and communication role (preferably in the Construction industry).
  • Willingness to be hands-on while maintaining a strategic approach following the role's requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to engage with all levels of the business.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Confident, flexible, and approachable attitude.
  • Proficient in emotional intelligence, capable of discerning and comprehending people's behaviours and attitudes, and adept at formulating appropriate responses.
