Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support a national events team to deliver strategic and targeted internal and client events? We are currently accepting applications for an Events Coordinator to join our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth office. This is an 18-month contract, 4 day per week position, with some flexibility on working arrangements for the right candidate, in alignment with our Agile working policy.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating, and triaging event inquiries, researching event opportunities, and liaising with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Day to day you will also:
- Deliver high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change, and competing priorities.
- Provide administration support to a bust national Events team.
- Support the design, build and distribution of e-invites.
- Attend events as required.
- Coordinate post-event ROI reporting.
- Maintain events internal information sites, produce internal events communications.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace, participating in and contributing to team meetings, firm initiatives, team projects and other relevant activities.
- Liaise with supplier and vendors.
To be successful in this position you will have;
- Prior exposure to events, preferably within a corporate or service / hospitality environment.
- Keen interest in the events industry and a willingness to develop skills, experience, and knowledge in this area.
- A demonstrated ability in providing administrative support is essential.
- Proficient systems and software skills - in particular, use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to think ahead, to work under pressure to meet deadlines, with capacity for flexibility in working hours.
- Working towards formal event / marketing qualifications will be an advantage.
- Prior experience with CRM (InterAction) and HTML email distribution software would be advantageous.
