About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Social Events Coordinator to fit in with our busy team.
The successful applicant will manage outlet and social bookings for the resort. You must display a positive attitude and ‘can do’ mindset with excellent attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
You will take full ownership of your events from handling the initial sales enquiry to preparing proposals, contracts and event orders. You will also be required to keep all systems and reporting records up to date, conduct hotel site inspections and confidently liaise with all hotel departments amongst other day to day duties. You will be required to work on Saturdays to conduct necessary site inspections and host events.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in sales & event management or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Highly organised with excellent time management.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as events dictate.
- Previous event coordination experience including use of Opera and iVvy Sales and Catering system is preferred.
- You must possess the legal right to work in Australia as no sponsorships will be offered.
