AddressMiami State High School is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Events Officer to assist the school in increasing community engagement and to celebrate success globally. This is a temporary full-time position until 30 April 2025, unless otherwise determined.
The position requires a highly motivated person who is relational and innovative that will dedicate themselves to developing community engagement through the use of digital media, public events and building strong community partnerships. Their primary focus will be to enhance the position of the school as a leading school of choice in public education.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Manage and maintain a consistent brand image within Miami State High School.
- Engage with key community stakeholders (local and state government members amongst others) to enhance Miami State High School's public image and to attract potential opportunities for students.
- Prepare and distribute media releases to showcase Miami State High School.
- Plan for, market and implement whole school events that provide exceptional and unique experiences to assist in our vision: first-class location, world class education.
Form positive partnerships with community stakeholders to ensure Miami State High School's profile as a quality public school is enhanced. - Immerse self into school events and activities and form positive relationships with school employees to source positive stories to share within the community via numerous platforms.
- Source and liaise with corporate merchandise partners to manage print and marketing merchandise for future enrolments and community events to provide Miami State High School with a point of difference.
- Implement new ways to market and showcase Miami State High School.
