The Position
The position is a newly created role for a hands-on sales & marketing specialist who not only brings expertise in marketing strategies but is also passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and company growth.
The ideal candidate will analyse, develop, and implement both traditional and online marketing strategies, including social media marketing, branding and brand awareness, brochures and catalogues, trade shows, and more. They will manage individual brands as well as overall company branding for both our B2B and B2C businesses
Salary: Based on suitability and experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with managing the ecommerce storefront, product listings and customer journey.
- Assist with incoming sales calls and customer enquiries.
- Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive sales and revenue growth.
- Create Marketing & Sales materials, including digital ads, social media content, email campaigns, and more.
- Track and report on campaign performance using data-driven insights to make recommendations for future campaigns.
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to assist and execute where needed.
- Provide regular feedback and strategic advice on brand and content marketing opportunities to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ecommerce marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of marketing tools and techniques, including social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting and insights.
- Competence in creating both image and video digital marketing assets.
- Confident and friendly persona on the phone and in front of camera.
- Understanding of the importance of brand presence and storytelling.
- A love of the outdoors is a bonus.
