The Opportunity
Thanks to an internal promotion, we are on the lookout for a passionate and customer experience focussed Marketing Specialist, Essential Communications to join our team on a fixed term, 12 month contract basis. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end development and execution of member communications to address compliance and mandatory notification requirements, ensuring risks are managed and appropriate approvals are in place.
This role will see you work collaboratively with a range of great stakeholders across the organisation, to provide clear advice and support (this will include the provision of a master campaign document and detailed delivery plan). Your stakeholders will include our in-house creative studio, data and automation teams, legal, fund policy, digital and fulfilment teams.
You’ll be a valuable member of a group of SMEs working together to deliver the best outcoes for our members and Medibank.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Scoping requirements for updates to communications and collateral. Gain input and approval from key stakeholders.
- Critically evaluating incoming projects and develop campaign plans that balance business and commercial requirements with the member experience.
- Participating in working groups to deliver the best possible outcome for members.
- Executing requirements according to the agreed approval process and operating rhythm, working closely with our in-house creative studio, Audience Team and internal CRM platforms and external agencies and mail houses.
- Delivering against key performance metrics to ensure effective and timely delivery.
- Collating and share PIR insights.
- Measuring and continually optimise communication effectiveness – open and CTRs, etc and report on business impacts post implementation eg – NPS, lapse rate, complaints.
About You
You will be a passionate, data driven Marketing professional early in your career, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare top quality compliance focussed content. Experience in working across different customer communication methods is a must, and direct knowledge of mail house processes in particular will be very highly regarded.
To be successful in the role, you will be a natural problem solver, able to understand the complexities of working in a highly regulated industry. Your written communication abilities will be exceptional, with both a keen eye for detail and accuracy, balanced with customer focus at the heart of everything we do.
