Génia is a family-owned company headquartered in St. Hilaire de Chaléons, France with over seventy years in the veterinary supply industry. Our spearhead product was the cutting-edge Plexiglass syringe, Géniaplex.
In 2011, we established a subsidiary in Sydney to be able to cover Australia with our range of veterinary supplies.
Genia products are now available through the main wholesalers. Our team is constantly listening to their customers: improving our existing products, dealing with vets and nurse’s needs, and imagining the products of tomorrow. The demand for Genia products is constantly growing, as well as our local team.
About the role:
As a Marketing Specialist at Genia, you will identify veterinarian market opportunities and implement a promotional and marketing plan to support Genia’s continuing growth.
Responsibilities:
- Annual marketing plan implementation: Develop a relevant marketing plan of action, according to the vet market’s opportunities and characteristics, taking account of our current strategy implemented.
- Marketing mix: Understand and coordinate product mix, including sales promotion and advertising to support sales team’s effort.
- Active benchmarking: Advise on competition’s strategy and new products to provide a better understanding on the key trends of the market.
- Medias coordination: Oversee current medias strategy (website, social medias, catalogue, etc.) through S.M.A.R.T initiatives and new channels. You will need to coordinate with our headquarters located in France to obtain some media supports.
- Campaign production: Create engaging content for new campaigns and analyse their performance for continous improvement.
- Brand development: Increase Genia's brand awareness and brand loyalty. Develop promotional strategies to increase consumption of our products through effective branding initiatives.
- Partnership management: Maintain and improve relationship with local universities and training centres, to increase product awareness among students, while finding new partners.
- Conferences organisation: Prepare and oversee conferences organisation, before, during and after the event (from the booth design to the clients / participants experience).
Requirements:
· 3-4 years proven experience as a Marketing Specialist / Manager or in a similar role..
· Master’s degree in Marketing or related field.
- Show strong analysis skills for a quick identification of market opportunities and trends.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills, to collaborate with internal and external partners.
· Strong knowledge of digital and print marketing.
· Proficiency in marketing tools, such as Indesign, PhotoShop and Meta.
· You have a teamwork spirit and a positive attitude towards work and life.
· Direct reporting to the Managing Director.
GGood understanding of the veterinary market is preferred.
