At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Markets Compliance Manager to join our Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance team. The Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance team sits within the Institutional Risk division that provides an active business partnership to embed and manage ANZ's Risk Framework in a way that delivers the division's strategic objectives.
Risk is a critical function, with highly valued and innovative teams that enable ANZ to deliver its purpose.
This role would suit an enthusiastic individual who would like to join a collaborative team of experienced compliance professionals.
What a typical day might look like…

• Provide independent insight and advice to management ensuring potential compliance and regulatory risks are appropriately considered.
• Provide objective review and challenge of business risk and compliance activities, processes and contribute to and support solution design for compliance breaches and issues management.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to drive a proactive, consistent and co-ordinated approach to risk management within the Markets business.

What will likely be in your toolkit?

• Compliance experience covering OTC derivatives and futures, licensing, and market conduct
• In-depth product knowledge, especially in relation to the Markets business and OTC products
• Specialist knowledge of OTC derivative reform including margining and risk mitigation, transaction reporting and/or clearing
• Strong communication skills with ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with others, build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and impart specialist knowledge and build capability in others
• Sound working knowledge of regulatory/legislative compliance and operating risk management principles and practices.
