Capital Equipment Hire is a cleaning machinery specialist company located in the Wetherill Park industrial region. We operate in the areas of service, hire & sales of quality cleaning equipment to the Sydney and greater NSW market. Our machinery ranges from scrubbers, sweepers, combination sweeper scrubbers, pressure washers and more.
We have a full-time position available for a Mechanical Engineering Technician
to join our workshop in Wetherill Park NSW.
Salary Starting from $70,200 + Super
About the Role
● Service, maintain, and repair industrial equipment
● Analyze and solve mechanical issues
● Data analysis to assess the performance of machinery
● Document machine safety and maintenance
● Communicate with and support other engineering staff
● Liaise with customers regarding repair and maintenance requirements
● Prepare drawings and designs for Mechanical Engineering work
● Construct and install new and/or modified mechanical equipment,
components, power systems, etc
● General workshop duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
● Minimum 3 years relevant an
d recent experience with industrial
equipment
● Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and
techniques
● Must have a keen eye in detecting and diagnosing faults in mechanical
equipment
● Ability to repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble
mechanical components
● Analytical ability to perform data analysis of systems and equipment
● Ability to manage competing priorities and have the capacity to manage
own workload and prioritize tasks to achieve the level of service required
● Ability to meet timelines and deadlines
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail
● Ability to work effectively and independently and in a team environment
and be customer focused
● Must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and take pride in their
work
● Compliance with OH&SE requirements on site and adhere to Health,
Safety and Environmental policies in the workplace
