Key task and responsibilities:
- Routine inspection and testing mechanical systems
- Executing preventative maintenance plans and breakdown maintenance
- Planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance tasks
- Participating in Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance workplace
- Quoting parts and repairs in preparation for purchase
- Machine operation
- Able to start 6:30am or 7am
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate/Qualification
- Industrial diagnostic and fault finding experience
- Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment desirable
- Flexible, punctual & motivated
- Can work 4ohrs per week + OT when required
- Able to work OT/ some weekend
- High Risk Work License: Forklift (EWP & Confined Spaces desirable)
