The Role

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Operations team and support our projects in WA. This opportunity will be a FIFO, currently a 3/1 roster with Perth as the point of hire.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Coordinate, manage and organise all site activities of site staff, sub-contractors, trades and suppliers.
• Complete Quality Assurance checks throughout all stages the construction period.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Organise and supervise the ordering, delivery and checking of materials, supplies and equipment required for site.
• Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or delays.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal staff members and give accurate updates on job project status.
• Ensure that all project documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner, from commencement of build to handover.
• Maintain up-to-date schedules, ensuring all suppliers and contractors complete their works within the projected build times without compromising quality .
• Demonstrate a commitment to onsite safety by ensuring compliance with MFG’s safety policies and procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

• 10+ years’ experience in a construction/Mechanical Supervisory role.
• Previous experience with project management software.
• Experience in Solar Farm construction and civil works highly desirable.
• Knowledge of and compliance with Workplace Health & Safety & BCA Requirements.
• Strong supervisory and people management skills.
• Be willing to work a 3/1 roster with Perth as point of hire.
