Unique Challenging Role with a Robotics and Automation company.
Universal Field Robots (UFR) is a rapidly growing business, with a range of projects in mining, defence and construction sectors. We are forecasting growth of our range of autonomous vehicles and robots.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our talented team. You will play a key role in designing and developing hardware and software to interface with our automation systems. Put your talents to good use and transform ordinary vehicles into useful robots that solves unique challenges.
This is a full-time role based at our Eagle Farm office, with some travel to customer sites across Australia and overseas.
Your role will be to lead the development of the electrical and software systems essential for converting a traditionally manually-operated machine to a remote-controlled or autonomous unit controlled from our advanced higher-level autonomy software.
If you are a Mechatronics Engineer (or similar) with a passion for solving challenging problems, join our team to lead the transformation of heavy equipment into cutting-edge autonomous systems.
Why UFR is an Exciting Place to Work
Universal Field Robots (UFR) builds capable, robust outdoor robotics often to solve specific industry challenges using our built-in autonomous abilities.
We concentrate on solving the challenge by utilising our proven platforms in combination with existing commercial equipment. This allows us to be an industry leader in agility, delivering solutions in shorter timeframes and at more economical price points.
The UFR team is comprised of passionate mechanical, mechatronics, robotics engineers and software developers, who are driven to improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of outdoor work using autonomous field robots.
