Your Role
An exciting opportunity has become available at Holy Spirit College for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Media & Communications Officer to join the team, commencing as soon as able, or as negotiated with the successful applicant. This is a term-time (approximately 42 weeks per year) continuing position for 38 hours per week.
This position provides executive support at a senior level in the areas of marketing and communication with the purpose of facilitating, fostering and maintaining relationships within Holy Spirit College and the wider community as well as enhancing the reputation of the College and attracting enrolments.
Other duties include:
- Provide executive support to senior management and associated committees concerning designated aspects of school management.
- Direct and supervise the operations of the school’s processes and activities in relation to marketing and communication.
- Apply substantial depth of knowledge in relation to advanced functions of computer software packages.
- Prepare financial reports relating to the areas of responsibility for senior management.
- Apply a range of technical and other skills involving the self-directed application of knowledge gained through formal studies/qualification applicable to this level or knowledge and experience that are determined by the employer as necessary to successfully carry out the duties of the position. This may include ensuring the production, distribution, revision, accessibility, accuracy and appeal of all digital and hard copy communications; and developing framework for, and providing the instruction to, staff members in communication processes including but not limited to use of social media, mobile applications and maintaining brand guidelines with Diocesan requirements.
