About the role
We have an opportunity for a Media Liaison Officer to be part of our Police Media Unit - Public Affairs Branch. The Public Relations Officer develop, deliverer and manage a range of media related activities including responses to media enquires attending crime scenes and other incidents, preparation of media releases, ministerial announcements, media campaigns and media issues management. This role will have occasional liaison with Ministerial offices to deliver effective and relevant media services in a manner that reflects organisational priorities and upholds and promotes the reputation of the NSW Police Force.

The successful candidate will thrive on working in a fast paced environment whilst managing multiple tasks. Using your relevant experience and knowledge, outline how you have managed multiple media inquiries and deadlines to deliver a positive outcome.

Please provide an example of a time where you have identified a potentially contentious/controversial issue, describing how you developed and executed a media strategy to address the issue. What was the outcome?
