Balance Orthopaedics is a specialist upper limb orthopaedic practice located at the Noosa Hospital, Noosaville. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the practice on a part time basis (2 days/week).
The Medical Receptionist is an integral member of our team. We are seeking a person with strong customer service skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key duties involve:
- Day to day management of a busy specialist practice
- Maintaining database
- Appointment bookings and managing a cancellation list
- Data entry
- General admin duties including scanning, e-faxing letters
- Working with Genie medical software
- Dealing with enquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals.
To be successful you will need a high level of organisation, excellent communication skills, an articulate phone manner and the capacity to deal with a diverse range of patients. The applicant must have the ability to work independently. Experience with Genie software essential.
