We are currently recruiting for a Full TimeSecurity & Maintenance Officer. This is a unique opportunity to really showcase your ability to manage all daily tasks and grow with the business. This role will suit a passionate individual that is driven to succeed.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Security:
- Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals and tactical or strategic initiatives.
- Conduct security procedures to ensure compliance with the Office of Drug Control (ODC), Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and relevant state licensing requirements for compliance.
- Review security logs and reports to ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Assist in the planning of emergency management and contingency planning.
- Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
- Train authorised personnel and contractors in safety and security procedures.
- Maintenance
- Manage contractors to follow ANTG’s contractor policy.
- Keep asset register up to date Management of the tools and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment as per schedule.
- Use a Computerized Maintenance and Management System (CMMS) to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
- Regular monitoring and cleaning of water systems, pumps, chillers, heaters, A/C, air handlers and CO systems.
- Oversee clean and general maintenance of facility infrastructure and external surrounds.
- Manage quality, compliance and GMP throughout the business by leading with quality frameworks.
- Manage quality events, non–conformances, unplanned deviations and new equipment introductions.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or skilled trades qualification (preferred).
- Experience in managing maintenance teams consisting of skilled trades, preferably in GMP environment in either pharmaceutical or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and aspects of security governance as well as the storage, security, and handling of Schedule 8/Schedule 9 drugs.
- Competent MS Excel, Word, database and maintenance management software such as FIIX, MEX or UPKeep.
- Strong operations and service contract management skills.
- Must have working knowledge of OHS regulations for agriculture, construction, and manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance procedures for dehumidifiers, air handler units, air conditioners, fans, generators, air compressors, pumps, valves, electrical circuits and equipment, water lines and equipment and other plant and equipment used on site.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in interpreting maintenance manuals, functional specifications & engineering drawings.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to perceive and meet the needs of the team without direction.
- Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Current Australian driver’s license
