We are seeking a smart and hands on and experienced Practice Manager/ Practice Co-Ordinator with excellent interpersonal skills looking for an opportunity to play an important role in a growing clinic.
Who we are: Grimshaw Street Medical Clinic is servicing Bundoora and surrounding suburbs over the last 40 years, operating 7 days a week.
We want to hear from candidates who are passionate, enthusiastic to take up challenges, take pride and ownership in initiating and developing strategies for the expansion of clinic and great problem solvers.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in working with team of GPs, managing experience reception team while driving excellent patient care.
We have several projects in the pipeline and looking to expand by adding another site. You will be reporting to your practice principal and a Business Manager.
Work Days: This position is a part -time or full time role over at least 4 week days.
Renumeration: We offer competitive above award rate, depending on the skills, experience and qualifications.
Essential Selection Criteria includes
- Manage the reception team workflow, lead and support them to manage patient appointments, greet clients, take bookings and payments
- Debt Collections
- Prior experience in implementing and upholding principles of RACGP 5th Standards for General Practices including Compliance and Quality Assurance activities
- Engagement and management of third parties
- Support Management team
- Highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise effectively
- Possess good communication skills, problem solving and good judgement

- Effectively communicate and liaise with GP's, Specialists and Allied Health Professionals.

About you:
- Prior experience in similar role
- Demonstrated team management skills
- Experience with staff training and development
- Understanding of various financial management including Medicare, Workers Comp, TAC
- Experience with Best Practice or Similar PMS
- Experience in Practice Accreditation is an advantage
