Coast Anaesthesia is a team of highly qualified anaesthetists providing specialist services to a large number of reputable surgeons across the south east Queensland region. Based in rooms within the Pindara Private Hospital medical precinct, our doctors are supported by a dedicated team of Medical Reception, administration and accounts staff.
The Role
This an exciting opportunity to join a truly friendly, supportive and high performing administration team within a professional and expanding specialist medical practice. You will be responsible for reception duties, coordinating theatre lists, providing patient quotations and informed financial consent, processing payments and billing accounts to Medicare and private health funds. You will need high level communication skills, knowledge of health fund claiming and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
About You
You have solid medical terminology, administration and accounts experience and knowledge, ideally gained within a hospital or specialist medical practice. Strong attention to detail supported by an efficient and productive approach to work is required in this role. Previous experience using patient administration software and Microsoft programs is essential. Experience using Meditrust is highly desirable. If you are friendly, supportive and hardworking you are going to really enjoy working with this team.
