Medical Reception/ Typist

We require a Medical Receptionist/Typist for a part time position (approx 16  hours per week) divided over 2 days, Monday and Friday in a busy Dermatology Specialist rooms at the John Flynn Medical Centre Tugun .

Activities include managing the day to day running of a small Specialist rooms in conjunction with one other part time receptionist. This would be a permanent  part time position.

Duties include accurate medical typing skills of at least 40 words per minute with some medical terminology an advantage but not essential as we have a dedicated typist.

Knowledge of Medical Objects- online receiving and sending of reports, and experience with a computerised record and accounting system would be an advantage.

Manage appointment diary, patient files and Hicaps billing

Ability to work unsupervised with a pleasant telephone manner

Available for early start within the next 6 weeks.
