To be successful in either of these 2 roles you must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working in a cosmetic medical practice - on reception - or experience in a hospital administration role.
Ideally you will have experience in leadership (people management) and either previous experience or a keen interest in cosmetic & plastic surgery.
About Our Role(s): These roles manage the day-to-day coordination of the busy reception desk that cover both Cosmedic & Skin Clinic and Southport Day Hospital.
We can offer GROWTH to step up to a 2IC role in the absence of our Business Manager.
Status: Full Time (5 days) or Part Time (3-4 days). We are open to discussing your needs.
Hours: Part Time 28 - and Full Time 40 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday with 1 x Saturday per month (9am – 1pm)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate on offer

- A qualified Medical Reception / admin person (with 2+ years’ experience)
- Happy to work all hours required
- Flexible with hours and days of work
- Willing to smile and offer our patients a welcome drink (tea / water) on arrival
- A positive communicator – willing to liaise with all members of the team and build positive relationships with all stakeholders
- A lateral thinker – always thinking of what can be done to improve systems and procedures

Reception / Administration - Role & Responsibility
- Work on our busy reception desk and provide 5 star service to our patients
- Welcome all visitors with a friendly SMILE
- Answer phone calls and emails – responding to patient enquiries
- Convert callers / emails to consultations
- Book patients for cosmetic injectables treatments and surgery consultations
- Manage an ‘active database’ to monitor progress with patient scheduling
- Maintain clinic documents and patient records
- General Patient Relationship Management
- Order stock and stationery – maintaining supplies
- Plan and attend team building / team bonding events
- Send out and collect responses from Patient Satisfaction Surveys
- Monitor health and safety standards within the Practice / Hospital
Additional Tasks (depending on skills and experience);
- Arrange and take part in team training sessions
- Assist with and drive special projects (Patient VIP Nights etc)
- Encourage continuous improvement of systems and procedures
- Liaise with our People & Culture Manager to suggest / make improvements
- Daily / Weekly and Monthly Reporting to the Business Manager & Owner
