Medical Receptionist

Vamp Cosmetic Clinic is seeking an experienced (part time 20-32h/week) Medical Receptionist to join our team. 

Located in the heart of Newcastle in our new state of the art clinic, we are a team of doctors, nurses and dermal therapists dedicated to providing an exceptional cosmetic experience.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, genuine and organised. A person who is an integral part of our team and makes our clients feel welcome during their visits to our clinic.  

The current work arrangement is flexible and mainly falls within 8:30-5pm weekdays. Applicants must be available for at least one Saturday per month and Thursday evenings is also desirable.

General reception, phone and customer service experience is essential for this position. Knowledge and experience with medical terminology is a bonus but not a necessity.

We expect you to possess the following attributes:

• Be well presented. Must be tidy appearance and well presented;
• Be well spoken. Must have a clear and friendly speaking voice;
• Be social. Must have good interpersonal skills for working with, and relating to, patients and peers;
• Be organised. Must be able to prioritise and multi-task different elements of daily work;
• Be computer literate. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows, printers, scanners and client booking software
• Be a team player. Must be able to work well and co-ordinate with other staff.
• Be reliable. Must be reliable, punctual and honest.

Health Professionals & Support Award - remuneration is variable depending on your experience. There are also opportunities to earn more with overtime and Saturday penalty rates. 

Cosmetic treatments treatments and skin care are offered at cost price to our staff

We provide staff uniforms so you don't have to worry about what to wear to work.

We're located in the centre of Newcastle (across the road from Marketown), very close to parking, plus there are plenty of shops and parks nearby.
