SalaryWe are a small Family Practice in Richmond seeking a mature-minded, friendly, and professional individual who would like to join our team.
This is a casual position for a Medical Receptionist, required to work 1.5 days a week Wednesday 1-6 pm and Fridays 9-6 pm.The ideal candidate would be flexible to work other shifts including Sundays as needed to cover staff absences.
As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing a friendly but high level of customer service and support to both our patients and doctors.
The duties would include:
Welcoming Patients in a friendly and professional manner
Entering of patient information into Best Practice software, billing and receipting both private and medicare payments.
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient inquiries.
Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, scanning documents and all other general office duties and requests from the Practice manager or Doctors.
This role would suit an individual who enjoys patient contact, has great computer skills and thrives on working as part of a team.
