Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.
We are looking for someone who can work in a challenging fast paced environment. A positive attitude and great communications skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and directing incoming calls.
- Patient, doctor, pharmacist engagement
- Data entry
- Processing patient payments
- Incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Liaise across the board to provide day to day administrative support
- Liaise with doctors, other health professionals and staff.
Required Skill/Experience:
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic with a core focus on customer service.
- Experience across a wide range of software including word/excel etc and a high level of computer literacy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with a high attention to detail
- Possess proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Well-presented, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability and commitment to work effectively within a team environment
- Must be available for shifts between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
This role requires an urgent start so we would ideally expect the suitable candidate to be available asap.
