About The Role
SmartClinics West End Family Medical Centre is conveniently located near a chemist in the heart of West End. There are a dedicated 7 doctors within this clinic, that offer a broad range of services. These services include but are not limited to acupuncture, accident & emergency treatment, family medicine and immunisations. In addition, there are also telehealth appointments available during the week for patients.
Our team is looking for a Senior Medical Receptionist to join a great and supportive team on a full time basis.
This role is perfect for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to multitask, happy to work in different locations and is comfortable working in a busy environment. This role is great for someone with previous General Practice experience who is looking for a more senior Medical Receptionist position.
In this role you will:
- Deliver exceptional patient service at all times
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
- Efficiently manage patient data, appointments and follow procedures
- Provide a seamless service to patients whilst ensuring clinic operations, and Doctor workload is effectively managed at all times
- Process patients billings/receipts
- Assist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks.
- Function in a highly organised and time-efficient manner at all times.
- Attend housekeeping in the Clinic and prepare morning/afternoon teas for our Doctors
